Homemade sandwich spread is an ideal idea to encourage children to prepare meals together. Avocado and smoked salmon spread is great to put on bread, toast and baguette. It provides a natural and nutritious way for breakfast or supper. You can decorate a finished sandwich spread with sprouts, e.g. watercress.

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 lime
  • 0.2 pound smoked salmon
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dill, freshly chopped


  • Peel and slice an avocado and then mash it with, for example, a fork. Sprinkle it with lime juice to enhance flavor and not make the avocado lose its color.
  • Cut the salmon into thin strips and add it to the avocado. Combine everything with cream cheese.
  • Mix everything thoroughly, adding dill, salt and pepper. Decorate the spread with cress or alfalfa sprouts. Our sandwich spread is ready for breakfast.
