Mexican Tart

Tart is an interesting appetizer that can be prepared easily. We usually associate tarts with sweet desserts but they taste great salty. If you want to taste Mexican cuisine, choose this dish and warm up with the flavor of cheese, corn, red beans, juicy tomatoes and hot pepper. Lime and fresh avocado emphasize the taste of everything.

Mexican Tart

  • Dough
  • 250 g coarse ground flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 1/3 glass water
  • a little oil
  • butter to grease the baking mold
  • Stuffing
  • 150 g yellow cheese
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 can black beans
  • ½ can corn
  • 1 hot pepper


  • Add sliced butter, a pinch of salt and oil to the coarse ground flour. Mix the ingredients and add water. Knead and shape the dough. Put in the fridge for 45 minutes.
  • Grease the baking mold with butter and line it with the dough. Bake for 15 minutes in an oven set at 180 degrees.
  • Put sliced yellow cheese inside and add the black beans and corn.
  • Cut an onion and tomatoes into small pieces and then put them into the tart. Add a little hot pepper. Put slices of lime on top.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes at the same temperature so that the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and toasted. Your tart is ready.
