Mashed potatoes are a great alternative to classic potatoes or fries. Potato purée is considered to be a very elegant side dish, which is why many of the best restaurants serve them with meat dishes. It is a perfect side dish to almost every dinner. You can also add your favorite appetizers made from vegetables. Then our purée will become an interesting side dish. Mashed potatoes taste great when combined with fresh country butter.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 1 glass milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • dill, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation:

  • Potatoes should be thoroughly washed and peeled. Cut the peeled potatoes into quarters.
  • Pour potatoes with hot water, add a teaspoon of salt and then cook. Cook them uncovered for about 30 minutes until tender.
  • Drain the potatoes. Add milk and butter, then combine ingredients together. Mix with a blender. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Before serving mashed potatoes, sprinkle them with chopped dill.
