Dumplings with potato and cottage cheese stuffing are one of the light dishes of Polish and Ukrainian cuisine. We can also call them Russian pierogis. They consist of very simple ingredients ̶ flour, potatoes, onions and cottage cheese. They bring to mind grandmother's dinners and childhood. It is best to serve them with fried onions or bacon greaves. A small portion of dumplings will be a perfect starter. You can also serve them cold or pan-fried.
