  • 2 large onions
  • 100 g wheat flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • ½ glass milk
  • 1 teaspoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic
  • sunflower oil


  • Wash, peel and cut an onion into rings.
  • Make pancake dough in a bowl (mix flour, egg, breadcrumbs, spices and milk and then gently salt). Let it stand for 10 minutes.
  • Warm up sunflower oil in a deep pot.
  • Fry the rings dipped in dough in oil (on both sides) until golden brown. Drain excess of fat from the rings on, for example, a paper towel. After draining, our onion rings are ready to be served.
