Baked Sweet Potato

Sweet potato is a vegetable which occurred in South America. Recently, it also became very popular on European tables. It’s more sophisticated alternative to potatoes which, with its sweetness, will emphasize the taste of each dish. They taste good with cream and other vegetables.

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons thick cream
  • 1 lime
  • 20 black olives
  • 2 tomatoes
  • cayenne pepper
  • a pinch of salt


  • Wash and cut the sweet potatoes into approximately 5-7 cm long slices. Grease them with olive oil. Lay them out on a baking sheet, covered with parchment paper.
  • Wash and cut tomatoes into small pieces. Cut the lime into quarters.
  • Put pieces of tomatoes and lime on the slices of sweet potatoes. Decorate them with black olives and then sprinkle with salt.
  • We put the dish prepared in this way for about 20 minutes in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Decorate slices removed from the oven with cream and cayenne pepper. Our sweet potato dish is ready to be served.
