Ingredients:

  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 1 glass beef stock
  • 1 glass tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 allspice berries
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • ½ tablespoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • vegetable oil

Preparation:

  • Cut the onions and carrot into small cubes. Warm up vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add chopped tomatoes and fry everything until golden brown.
  • Cook the beef stock in a saucepan and combine with bay leaves, allspice, thyme, pepper and a tablespoon of butter. Add the contents from the frying pan and mix everything.
  • Cook for about 10 minutes and then pour two tablespoons of wine. If necessary, thicken with wheat flour. Cook for a while. Our red wine sauce is ready.
