    Ingredients for macaroni and cheese:

  • 2 cups milk
  • ¼ cup butter
  • pinch of pepper
  • 2 cups grated cheese
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 8 oz pack elbow macaroni
  • ½ teaspoon salt

    Preparation of macaroni and cheese

  • Boil water in a pot and lightly salt it. Then pour elbow macaroni into the boiling water and cook it. Stir it once a few minutes to avoid sticking to the bottom of the pot. When the macaroni is cooked, drain it.
  • Melt butter in a pan using medium heat, add salt, pepper, flour and stir it until smooth. Then add some milk very slowly but stirring it at the same time until it’s smooth. At the end add some cheese to this mixture and stir it until cheese is melted. Pour this mixture over the elbow macaroni and stir it. Serve warm.
