    Ingredients for pork spaghetti:

  • 2 lbs (900g) pork mince
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 3 teaspoons fresh/dried basil
  • 3 teaspoons fresh/dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons fresh/dried parsley
  • 1 lb (450g) thin spaghetti
  • 7 oz (200g) red pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 15 oz (425g) can tomato sauce
  • 28 oz (800g) can diced tomatoes
  • 6 oz (170g) can tomato paste
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon oil

    Preparation of pork spaghetti

  • Chop onion and mince garlic, then dice paprika. Chop herbs if you have them fresh not dried. You can leave few basil leaves for decorating dish.
  • Pour oil into a pan. Heat a pan on medium high-heat. Add red pepper, pork mince, garlic, onion, stir from time to time. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
  • Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Grind pepper. Season with salt and pepper, then add parsley, basil and oregano.
  • Bring this mixture to boil. Reduce heat and simmer this sauce for 30-50 minutes. If the sauce is too thick, you can add some water and simmer it again.
  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions and drain it.
  • Place some cooked spaghetti on a plate and pour the sauce over. At the end sprinkle with parmesan cheese and decorate with basil leaves. Bon appétit.
