Sweet and Sour Pork

The juicy taste of pork is enhanced by delicate flavor of vegetables, such as pineapple and sweet pepper. Thanks to chili pepper, the whole dish is spicy and savory.

  • 1.3 pound pork loin
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • a piece of ginger (a few centimeters long)
  • 1 small onion
  • fresh chives
  • 1 celery
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cane sugar
  • a few slices of canned pineapple
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 garlic clove
  • corn flour


  • Cut the meat into strips. Pour soy sauce, wine vinegar, brown sugar into a bowl and then add egg yolk. Bread the meat in the mixture and leave it for about 20 minutes.
  • After that, bread the pieces of meat in corn flour.
  • Fry the prepared meat in hot oil for about 4 minutes.
  • Cut the vegetables. Julienne an onion and red bell pepper and then cut celery and chili pepper into slices. Ginger and garlic should be chopped finely and crushed.
  • Fry vegetables in a frying pan and pour some soy sauce. After a few minutes, add the meat and pineapple chunks. Fry everything for about 2 minutes.
  • After frying, sprinkle it with chives and our dish is ready. Sweet and sour pork goes perfectly with rice or cellophane noodles.
