  • 1 fresh turkey, gutted
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • parsley
  • ½ lemon
  • 0.45 pound butter
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • a few spoons of parsley
  • ½ tablespoon black pepper


  • The turkey should be carefully washed and dried. In the interior of the turkey, spread pepper mixed with salt. Rub evenly.
  • Mix together softened butter, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic cloves and parsley. Mix all ingredients thoroughly so that they are equally combined.
  • Spread the mixture on the inside of the turkey and its skin on the outside. Rub it into the skin.
  • Cut onion and garlic into smaller pieces, chop lemon and then put them inside the turkey . The hole of the turkey can be tied with a natural string.
  • Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and rotisserie the turkey. It can also be baked in a casserole dish. Bake it for half an hour and then pour the melted butter.
  • Next, reduce the temperature to about 180 degrees and bake for about 2 - 2.5 hours, depending on the weight of the turkey. When the turkey’s skin is golden brown and the meat is very hot inside – the dish is ready to be served.
