  • 0.5 pound beef clod
  • 0.3 pound ribs, smoked
  • 0.2 pound bacon
  • 1 pound black beans
  • 1 tablespoon coriander, chopped
  • bay leaves
  • allspice
  • 1 onion
  • hot pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • salt
  • pepper


  • Place beef, ribs and bacon in a deep pot and pour them with water. Add bay leaves and a few grains of allspice to taste. Cook for about an hour until the meat is tender.
  • Drain the black beans and mix, then add to the meat.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and fry chopped hot pepper, onion and garlic. When they are fried, add the ingredients to the pot with the meat.
  • Heat the whole dish and cook for about 15 minutes on low heat, covered. Before serving, sprinkle the dish with fresh coriander. Our stew is ready.
