Ingredients:

  • 0.9 pound ham
  • 50 ml vegetable oil
  • 50 ml water
  • 2 tablespoons sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tablespoon hot paprika powder
  • ½ tablespoon ground ginger
  • allspice
  • bay leaves
  • pepper
  • salt

Preparation:

  • Wash the pork meat and dry it with a paper towel. Cut it into even slices. Rub with salt and pepper. Put in a casserole dish.
  • In a glass, mix oil and water, add sweet and hot paprika powders, ground ginger, allspice and bay leaves. Mix everything thoroughly.
  • Pour the sauce over the meat and put the casserole dish in the oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake for about 45 minutes until the meat is golden brown. When the half of the baking time is up, we can turn the meat over and pour the sauce over it again. At the end of baking, the sauce can be thickened with flour.
