- ½ lime
- ½ cup tonic water/soda water
- white sugar to taste
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 8 fresh mint leaves
Ingredients for classic mojito:
Cut lime into wedges. You can also save 1 lime slice for decorating. Put 1 lime wedge and mint leaves into glass and crush ingredients with muddler to release mint aroma and lime juice.
Add sugar and remaining wedges and muddle again until juice is released. Crush some ice cubes, you can also save 2 or 3 cubes to put on top. Fill the glass with crushed ice. Add the rum, then add soda water and stir the liquid. At the end add ice cubes on top and decorate with lime slice.
