  • 4 egg whites
  • a pinch of salt
  • 0.4 pound powdered sugar


  • Beat egg whites with a mixer. Add a pinch of salt while whipping. The foam should be stiff.
  • Gradually, add powdered sugar and whisk. The foam should be white and not runny. At this point, you can also add food coloring if you want to get meringues in a specific color.
  • Line the baking tray with baking paper. Squeeze the meringues onto a baking tray, using a pastry bag or a special plastic icing bottles. You can also apply the mixture, using a large spoon.
  • Preheat the oven to about 140 degrees, then put in a baking tray and reduce the temperature by 20 degrees. Bake about 60 minutes. Meringues should be white and dry. Our meringues cookies are ready.
